![]() It is important to recognise that Valhalla Vintage is mainly designed to sound like late 1970s to early 80s classic reverb units. So yeah, if I could only get one, I'd get that one, because Valhalla sometimes does sound bad for some applications. it doesn't sound absolutely amazing on anything, but if used correctly, it never sounds bad. ![]() ![]() But For glueing tracks together and giving an "in the same room" sound on a bus, it's awesome.ĭon't let the price and minimal UI fool ya, this is a cheap but extremely versatile little thing. It won't give you that massive, lush reverb that sounds so good it overwhelms the actual instrument. However, the delay module, reverb and EQ get used on every single mix So I'm super happy with that very inexpensive little gem. It's included in the mixing bundle that I mostly bought for a compressor I don't use anymore lol. ![]() It's super simple to use, sounds good right out of the box and on most settings ad it's super light on computer use. TBH though, as surprising as this could sound, the tiny TBReverb by toneboosters is what gets used the most in my mixes.
